niche retail - Relationship-driven D2C eCommerce

We are looking a Java or Ruby on Rails Software Engineer with 2 to 3 years experience to help develop new eCommerce solutions for retail and distribution business and enhance existing applications. This is a full-time position in picturesque Sylvan Lake, next to the bike trail.  Come code innovative software like mad while wearing sandals and your favorite jeans.

Basic Qualifications
• A bachelor's computer science degree or three years experience in eCommerce solution development.
• Minimum two (2) years experience with Java or one (1) year Ruby on Rails 

• Minimum two (2) years experience using HTML, JSP, J2EE, Javascript

• Minimum one (1) year experience with  XML, MySQL or similar relational database, AJAX

• Some experience with JSON is a plus, but not required

• Development of new applications
• Excellent communication skills
